The around awards and award functions are not just restricted to Bollywood, but also the Punjabi entertainment industry. Babbu Maan who is one of the most respected singers in the Punjabi music industry was once accused of buying an award. Maan was given the prestigious Daf BAMA Music Awards for Best Male Artist and Best Punjabi Act. While on one hand, it was a matter of pride for Punjab, on the other hand, famous Punjabi singer Garry Sandhu alleged that Maan did not win but bought the award.
Sandhu was criticized for his allegation and later denied saying anything against the singer.
During Dirba Kabaddi Cup match, singers Babbu Mann and Sidhu Moosewala performed and rejoiced the stage in Sangrur. As per the information, the crowd gathered in the ground danced to the tunes of the singers. However, the situation troubled when the fans of Babbu Mann and Sidhu Moosewala collided with each other and had a verbal spat.

Babbu Maan and singer Rupinder Handa’s controversy was the biggest hype of Pollywood. Rupinder Handa came in front of the public and made a video for Maan fans while she said, “Main Sadke Jawa Tuhadi Soch de” in sarcasm. The video which included taunts to maan fans because they had previously abused Handa, floated all over the internet. Apart from this, a turmoil between Jazzy B and Babbu Maan also became headlines.

It all started when Babbu Maan once in a press conference said,there are many songs of Kuldeep Manak also which can’t be heard while sitting in the family. This didn’t go well with Jazzy B who took over his Facebook account and wrote how he can not hear anything against ‘Ustaad Ji’ i.e Manak Saab.
