The around awards and award functions are not just restricted to Bollywood, but also the Punjabi entertainment industry. Babbu Maan who is one of the most respected singers in the Punjabi music industry was once accused of buying an award. Maan was given the prestigious Daf BAMA Music Awards for Best Male Artist and Best Punjabi Act. While on one hand, it was a matter of pride for Punjab, on the other hand, famous Punjabi singer Garry Sandhu alleged that Maan did not win but bought the award. Sandhu was criticized for his allegation and later denied saying anything against the singer. During Dirba Kabaddi Cup match, singers Babbu Mann and Sidhu Moosewala performed and rejoiced the stage in Sangrur. As per the information, the crowd gathered in the ground danced to the tunes of the singers.
